DOT PATTERN LIGHT CHANDELIER

With Cassina, the Dot Pattern Light continues to evolve, building on the original vision of Charles and Ray Eames as a study of rhythm, connection, and form.
The introduction of the Dot Pattern Light Chandelier extends the pattern’s language into a vertical composition, translating the clarity of Ray Eames’ drawing into a suspended structure where points of light and connecting lines form a balanced, architectural presence. Its vertical orientation introduces a new sense of proportion and atmosphere, while preserving the precision and playfulness of the original work.

Developed by Form Portfolios in collaboration with the Eames Office and Cassina, the piece reflects a considered process of interpretation, rooted in the Eameses’ design approach and archival material.
The chandelier draws out what was already embedded in the original idea—an underlying structure capable of extending across dimensions and applications. From drawing to object, and now into space, the Dot Pattern Light evolves, guided by the enduring principles of Charles and Ray Eames.
