Form Portfolios announces a multi-year collaboration with leading architecture, engineering, and interiors firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), to introduce its modern classics in furniture and lighting to the design market.
For nearly nine decades, SOM has shaped some of the world’s most iconic buildings and interiors—including Lever House (1952), the Inland Steel Building (1956), Burj Khalifa (2009), and One World Trade Center (2014). Now, for the first time, select bespoke furniture, lighting, and product designs from SOM’s archive will be made available to the interior design market.
Halston’s iconic red office on the 21st floor of NYC’s Olympic Tower, 1978. Designed by SOM, featuring Charles Pfister’s signature chair.
