COLLEEN NEWELL
Colleen Newell is an American designer and creative director whose work explores the intersection of imagination, emotion, and experience. After two decades as an executive, designer, and leader across global retail and design industries, she founded her studio in 2022—driven by a vision to create work that provokes wonder and challenges the boundaries of what is possible.
Guided by a lifelong pursuit of beauty and cultural understanding, Newell has collaborated with influential figures in entertainment, technology, business, medicine, and craft. Her perspective—shaped by extensive travel and a sensitivity to both the material and the metaphysical—infuses her designs with a rare blend of refinement and curiosity.
Prior to establishing her studio, she served as Executive Vice President of Design and Merchandising at abc carpet & home in New York City. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Vogue, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and other leading publications.
