ANDREAS HANSEN
Andreas Hansen is a Danish designer whose work embodies the clarity and craftsmanship at the heart of Scandinavian modernism. Educated at the Kunsthåndværkerskolen (School of Arts and Crafts) and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Furniture Design, he developed a design language rooted in precision, balance, and material integrity.
Since founding his own studio in 1963, Hansen has created furniture, lighting, and home furnishings that unite thoughtful form with everyday function. His approach favors subtle innovation over ornament—refining traditional techniques through a contemporary lens and exploring the quiet beauty of structure and proportion.
